UI Parts Bin

Four component libraries, kept close for OneLifeStack. Browse, pick, port into our own kit.

Untitled UI React MITReact Aria

The free Untitled UI set in a Storybook: buttons, inputs, selects, tables, date pickers, modals, tabs, file upload, empty states. React 19 + Tailwind v4 — our exact stack.

Reach for it first for app UI: records, forms, lists, settings. Its accessibility patterns are the ones to port.

ReactBits MIT + Commons Clause

215 animated showpieces: text effects, WebGL backgrounds, galleries, docks. A third are dependency-free; the rest pull gsap, three.js or ogl.

Marketing pages and flourishes — the landing site, empty states, a Memories cover. Prefer the dependency-free ones on phone screens.

Motion-Primitives MITMotion

33 calm, app-oriented motion components: in-view reveals, animated dialogs, text transitions, toolbars. Small and tasteful.

In-app micro-interactions — the polish layer for Today, Plan and module screens, once we adopt the motion dependency.

Animate UI MITMotion

Animated shadcn-style primitives (switches, tooltips, counters, tabs) plus 260 animated icons, built on Radix and Motion.

Animated controls and icons — the icon set and primitives port straight into src/components/ui.

House rules when picking

  1. Port, don't depend — copy the component into our UI kit, re-skin with the Figma V2 tokens (no raw hex), keep the source file's license header.
  2. Mind the dependencies — anything pulling gsap, three.js or ogl needs a reason. Adding motion itself is a one-time, deliberate decision.
  3. Phone first — no WebGL backgrounds in app screens; everything must behave at 360 px and respect prefers-reduced-motion.
  4. Licenses — all four allow commercial use inside the app. ReactBits additionally forbids redistributing its components as components.
